A stark, atmospheric protest song, No Doves Fly Here is one of Crass Records’ most enduring releases.

The Mob’s anti-war anthem, produced by Penny Rimbaud and recorded at Southern Studios, is reissued on 12” vinyl, remastered by Alex Gordon at Abbey Road. First released in 1982, it features mournful orchestration, ominous guitar, and haunting spoken word that remain powerfully relevant.

Closely tied to Crass and the free festival scene, The Mob embodied anarcho-punk’s DIY ethos. Frontman Mark went on to found Rockaway Park, home to the radical Chapel of Unrest.

This reissue, part of Crass Records' revival series with One Little Independent, includes a replica of the original cover and is paired with live favourite I Hear You Laughing.

UK orders via the Chapel of Unrest ensure both the band’s and dealer’s profits go to Médecins Sans Frontières.
